I placed an order for 6 meals

I placed an order for 6 meals, all went well. But skipped the rest of the weeks I saw on the screen. A month later, late at night I see a charge from Freshly for another 6 meals that I did not order or wanted. I did not know about the auto renewal shipments. I have been in contact via chat and email with them to cancel this delivery and refund the pending charge. To no vail, they claim I canceled subscription and they can't do anything. I did canceled the subscription but was after Jeb on the chat late at night told me there was nothing they could do. I am not currently in my home and the meals package will not be accepted. A dispute has been filed with the bank about the charge. Again, this is a misleading way of dealing with customers, not notifying them of the next delivery or credit card charge. The weekly auto renewal is a deceptive practice, it forces you to go in their site very often to check deliveries, if you want to try the meals, order, then cancel the subscription, otherwise they will keep billing and sending meals, and it is expensive.

Horrible company

Horrible company. I'm not one to complain, but how would you all know that. But I'm not. I was purchasing meals for my 92 year old mother. It just didn't work out for her. The meals were decent. I got an email from Freshly to download their app. So I did. Unbeknownst to me, because of me downloading their app, my next order was doubled. So I had (have) a credit of $78.00. I have since cancelled my subscription, because like I said, it just didn't work out with my 92 year old mother. I have been arguing for weeks to receive a credit. Freshly simply will not. A reputable company? I'm furious. They have no problem deducting $$$ from my credit card - how hard is it to put it back in? This is truly absurd that this so-called reputable company will not reimburse me - whether it was my mistake or not. Do NOT do business with them. There are many other places to buy your food. Watch your back.

Customer satisfaction is NOT top priority BEWARE

Deliveries are suppose to arrive Monday weekly. Nothing so called Tues morning and was told it will still arrive by the end of Tues. Nothing AGAIN!!! Called once more Wed morning. Was told next scheduled delivery date is 12 days past the missing delivery. Thar puts 3 weeks almost (19 days) between deliveries. So much for weekly deliveries we signed up for since my 85 year old father doesn't ever drive, or walk much even. The righting the wrong was skipped. The right thing to do to correct YOUR mistake would have been to send the meals after my 1st phone call Tuesday. Customer satisfaction is NOT top priority with this company which they have now proven for the 2nd time. They weren't willing to ship 2 replacement meals that arrived with packaging damaged and food loose in the box a couple months ago. So after having terrible customer service twice, I canceled and am now going to try a different delivery service after a year and a half of doing business with Freshly. Let's hope customer satisfaction factors with Factor, (competitor)!

Based on what I read here

Based on what I read here, people saying Freshly is 5 star either have a very low standard for food or they are plants to give fake reviews. It really tastes like the dinners are frozen at some point. The veggies are mushy. Mashed potatoes are for sure like instant potatoes. The meat comes out ok because that can be frozen. Not worth $17 including shipping per meal. Go to your local restaurant and get a really fresh meal for about the same price.

Worst experience ever

Worst experience ever. For past three months UPS has been skipping my delivery, damaging the box, or delivering to the wrong address. Freshly keeps refunding the food and I keep having to get my meals elsewhere. Skip the heartache and move on from this ^%$#SHOW!

The servings were delicious

The servings were delicious, tasty and mouth-watering for the kids! Pink was equally helpful and chipped in to meet a tough deadline imposed on me by the little ones. Gratias👍

Just Blah & $$$$$$

I ordered one box and found the portions on the small side and the food to be bland and in some cases unappetizing. The standard price is over the moon for this quality. I'm amazed at all the 5 Star ratings..makes me think different parts of the country have a different experience. Once was enough for me.

Has the delivery reliability gotten better? Many of the reviews talk about not getting delivery of their orders.

A:

I've been getting mine in on time, but I assume as with all packages going through USPS, UPS, and FedEx right now, things have been backed up since COVID and only getting worse. So it's not Freshly's fault even if they aren't delivered on time.

Did not deliver at all, with NO notice. Called, they said they were having problems, and would ship NEXT WEEK. What do I eat this week, they took my money.

Each meals are portioned only for one and not very big but dietary correct. Americans are just used to larger portions than they should be eating
